Recreational Fire - Portable Outdoor Fireplace

In accordance with the California Fire Code Section 307.4.3 - Portable Outdoor Fireplaces:

Portable outdoor fireplaces shall be used in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and shall not be operated within 15 feet of a structure or combustible material.

Exception: Portable outdoor fireplaces used at one and two family dwellings.

  • A charged garden hose shall be present at all times.
  • An adult shall be persent at all times and the fireplace shall be supervised at all times.
  • The flame shall not exceed two feet in height above the top of the fireplace.
  • Burning of household waste is PROHIBITED.
